PokerStars has announced the first draft of the proposed WCOOP 2011 Schedule. 62 events will take place from September 4 to 25. The main events will once again be a $5,200 buy-in event, no guarantees have been set as of yet.
With Europeans making up the majority of the online poker world now that the U.S. is in disarray, it was only a matter of time before the Worlds Leading Poker Site – PokerStars – would be moving the time slots of their major sunday tournaments. The guaranteed prize pools for these tournaments will double!
Every year Full Tilt Poker holds their version of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) only online and at 1/100th of the buyin. This year the Mini Series of Poker 2011 will start on Tuesday May 31 blasting off with a $5.50 $20,000 guaranteed tournament.
In just 9 days the much anticipated PokerStars SCOOP 2011 will be taking place. With Europeans making up the majority of players on Poker Stars, they have therefore changed the starting times for all SCOOP events forward 3 hours. The total guaranteed prize pool has also been reduced to $25,000,000
The Microgaming network holds a mini poker tournament series each year during the Easter holidays called the Easter Festival. From April 22-25 2011, 9 events are crammed into a busy 4 day schedule. This year the total prize pool is €850,000, with a 2-day €750,000 guaranteed €300+20 buy-in main event.
